Dairy: 1, Me: 0

Dairy in the early afternoon: 2 squares dark chocolate w/hazelnut
Verdict: OK

During lunch: 1 small cube cheese
Verdict: Tummy ache for the rest of the day

I just don't understand it.

Edit: Someone tipped me off that dark chocolate doesn't have milk in it??? So therefore, one cube cheese and it's suddenly all over. I guess I really have no leeway at all; what a travesty!

***Correction: I checked the ingredients, there is indeed milk in the dark chocolate, and butter too =[

****Thanks for the clarification on dark chocolate! Sounds like I have to eat "pure" dark chocolate to avoid tummy aches. Regardless, I should probably cut down on the chocolate...tehe.

Le chocolat noir est un chocolat qui contient entre 35% et 100% de cacao et de beurre de cacao, le reste étant constitué principalement de sucre.

beurre de cacao n'est pas "butter"

in english for you:

Dark chocolate is produced by adding fat and sugar to cacao. It is chocolate without milk as an additive. It is sometimes called "plain chocolate". Sweet chocolate is not necessarily dark chocolate as there is no restriction of milk in it.

Therefore saying that restriction of milk is what defines dark chocolate. Eat pure dark chocolate and you should be fine
