Counting Continents
Pre-Nuit Blanche, Samira, Enyi and I Skype. The conversation quickly turns serious as we discuss how many continents there are.

Samira and I "dans ma chambre" take snapshots of an unaware-Enyi. What is this pout-itude?

...and so it begins...

Samira: counting continents.

Samira and I strike a pose.

And another.

I send them to Enyi for a surprise! The jig is up.
A Keeper
Whatever those few moments are in a life, that reverberate with a quelling importance and visual vibrancy, there was one today. Walking alone on a particularly winsome street, the wind blew small currents of air around my feet and flapping coat. The ground was nearly blanketed in yellow leaves that shhh-ed like the sound of flipping a sheaf of paper. They linked hands and waltzed through the air, rushing by me in a gust of wind and settling just as quickly as they had risen. For a moment, I felt alone in the most deliciously isolated way.
I don't know if it's all that yoga I've been doing or what, but I mentally clung to the moment as it whisked by in the passing seconds and resolved to shelve it in the KEEPER section of my memory bank.

Dairy: 1, Me: 0
Dairy in the early afternoon: 2 squares dark chocolate w/hazelnut
Verdict: OK
During lunch: 1 small cube cheese
Verdict: Tummy ache for the rest of the day
I just don't understand it.

I just don't understand it.
Edit: Someone tipped me off that dark chocolate doesn't have milk in it??? So therefore, one cube cheese and it's suddenly all over. I guess I really have no leeway at all; what a travesty!
***Correction: I checked the ingredients, there is indeed milk in the dark chocolate, and butter too =[
****Thanks for the clarification on dark chocolate! Sounds like I have to eat "pure" dark chocolate to avoid tummy aches. Regardless, I should probably cut down on the chocolate...tehe.
