I Want to Move to Brussels

Thanks to my Dad and all his international connections, I stayed the weekend in Brussels with Joelle and her family. She and Rinaud were incredibly generous and for the first time in a long time, I felt at Home... Her apartment/house was an artist's DREAM world.

Basque Country Lunch

After the Segway tour, Dad and I followed the recommendation of our American guide's suggestion to eat at a restaurant a few blocks from the Segway City Tours office. Menus handwritten in scrawled French cursive. Not a lick of English in sight! Always a good sign as to the quality of the restaurant.

Metro: Dupleix

Segway Paris

This is just too much.

Night at the Museum

The petit apartment my dad got for his stay.
Entering the Natural History Museum
So musty and old. Quite an experience.

Dad in Town

So won't be updating as often! Busy little bees.

Had an amazing French dinner in the 15th last night - buffet style! with Samira. Also found the apartment I'll be living in for next semester!!! More on this later.

Endless amounts of duck confit, potato soup, terrines galore... plus 10 different desserts?!

Dad's first time at Sacré-Coeur!

My walk "home" today

Lovely.

One of my favorite snacks...

Pailles d'Or from the boulangerie down the street from ACCENT:

They are basically jam sandwiches of palmier-type pastry and a dusting of powdered sugar. Only 1.70 EUR and it'll last you two days of snacking heaven!
